As plant infections take place during rain, small amounts of copper are released on the plant surface to kill or inhibit germination of micro-organisms.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>-Professor JM Kotz\u00ea, University of Pretoria<\/p>\n<p>Copper fungicides are manufactured using scrap copper, which results in the presence of impurities, including heavy metals. Demildex is produced using only the highest quality copper, reducing the number and amount of impurities well below the international standards.<\/p>\n<p>Tenacity coefficient is a measure of the product&#8217;s ability to stick to the plant and its resistance to weathering from rain and irrigation. The tenacity coefficient increases with a decrease in particle size. One to two-micron particles drastically out-perform the larger particles found in most copper oxychloride products. The level of copper chloride in Demildex is directly proportional to the reaction time. Because of the long oxygenation time of our production process, Demildex has minimal copper chloride levels (between 0.5% and 0.9%). A lepra do pessegueiro \u00e9 mais comum durante a primavera, quando a humidade dura v\u00e1rias horas com temperaturas frias.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m de alterar a apar\u00eancia e \u00e0s vezes a cor das folhas, a lepra do pessegueiro pode reduzir significativamente a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de frutos das \u00e1rvores infectadas. A fruta produzida, por vezes, apresenta deforma\u00e7\u00f5es avermelhadas que fazem com que caiam mais cedo.<\/p>\n<p>Deixar os cachos das folhas sem tratamento causa o aumento, ano ap\u00f3s ano, da propaga\u00e7\u00e3o da doen\u00e7a, o que, por sua vez, resulta numa queda cont\u00ednua da produ\u00e7\u00e3o. O tratamento da lepra do pessegueiro envolve a elimina\u00e7\u00e3o imediata das folhas e frutos ca\u00eddos, a separa\u00e7\u00e3o das partes doentes das plantas e a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de um fungicida eficaz como o Demildex.<\/p>\n<h5>Manchas negras em rosas<\/h5>\n<p>Outro fungo comum \u00e9 conhecido como diplocarpon rosae e \u00e9 encontrado nas folhas das rosas. Pode identificar o diplocarpon rosae pelas manchas pretas que surgem na folha, rodeadas por uma descolora\u00e7\u00e3o amarela. Este fungo espalha-se atrav\u00e9s da \u00e1gua, atingindo outras partes da planta e para outras plantas pr\u00f3ximas. Produz esporos na superf\u00edcie das folhas durante o inverno e infecta o novo crescimento das folhas na primavera. As manchas formam-se cerca de duas semanas ap\u00f3s o aparecimento dos esporos.<\/p>\n<p>A r\u00e1pida perda de folhas causada pelo diplocarpon rosae pode enfraquecer as rosas infectadas e torn\u00e1-las mais vulner\u00e1veis \u200b\u200ba outros tipos de infec\u00e7\u00f5es. \u00c0 medida que o crescimento do fungo ultrapassa o crescimento de novas folhas, a planta perde a capacidade de se sustentar de se reproduzir. Novas variedades continuam a evoluir, criando infec\u00e7\u00f5es f\u00fangicas mais resistentes e mais dif\u00edceis de tratar.<\/p>\n<p>A preven\u00e7\u00e3o de diplocarpon rosae \u00e9 prefer\u00edvel ao tratamento. Recomenda-se manter a \u00e1gua longe das folhas, assim como a poda e limpeza de folhas ca\u00eddas e plantas mortas. Deve podar desde 15 a 20 cm sob qualquer \u00e1rea infectada e limpar a tesoura de poda regularmente. O Demildex pode ser utilizado como um tratamento local ou medida preventiva.<\/p>\n<h5>Antracnose (Colletotrichum)<\/h5>\n<p>A antracnose, que \u00e9 uma denomina\u00e7\u00e3o colectiva para as doen\u00e7as que produzem manchas pretas, ferrugem nas flores e queimaduras que descoloram o verde, sendo esta uma infec\u00e7\u00e3o f\u00fangica comum encontrada em todo o mundo nos frutos silvestres, mangas, uvas, abacates, entre muitos outros. Causa um n\u00edvel elevado de danos em arbustos e \u00e1rvores cadudas, sendo que geralmente requer tratamento antes e depois da colheita.<\/p>\n<p>A antracnose causa o enfraquecimento, murcha e mata \u00e1rvores e arbustos. Afecta o crescimento de brotos e folhas e produz les\u00f5es descoloridas e manchas aprofundadas em toda a planta, geralmente incluindo os galhos, ramos e a casca.<\/p>\n<p>A preven\u00e7\u00e3o da antracnose \u00e9 vital para a sobreviv\u00eancia das culturas, caso sejam expostas ao g\u00e9nero de fungo que causa a doen\u00e7a.
