Solvent Extraction

Solvent extraction is a complex process that requires the use of a dual media filter for optimal production. African Pegmatite’s anthracite and garnet are used in these dual media filters to improve the filtration of the material as it moves from the extraction phase to the electrowinning phase. This process allows for the recycling of materials and the extraction of a purer end product.

The specifications of each of these materials allow for a superior filtration that reduces your backwashing times and costs, remains usable much longer than standard silica filter sand, and results in more effective filtration of lean electrolyte fluid.
